KILI Radio Staff and Volunteers

KILI’s staff includes Melanie Janis Zimiga/volunteer coordinator, Derrick Janis/production coordinator, Arlo Iron Cloud/early morning programming/website maintenance/social media support, Tom Casey/general manager & development director. Contract help includes Tracy Krsnak/engineering, John Crigler/legal, Milt Lee/Live 365/PayPal, Randy Stone /accounting, Cecil Apple, Joe Pulliam and Don Montileaux/art. Volunteers include: Miguel “Mugs” Cross, Lloyd Bianis, Lawrence “Hercules” Young Bear Jr., Charles New Holy, Iva Star Comes Out, Frank Marshall, Bryant High Horse, Jr., Dennis White Shield, Northern Hemis, emis, HCarol Iron Rope Herrera, Irma Maldonado, Serena “DJ Spinnerz” King, Bill Lone Hill, Collette High Bull, Beau LeBeau, Ricky Grey Grass, Pansy Weasel Bear, Brian Charging Cloud, Robert Two Crow, Ivan Bettelyoun, Ted Standing Soldier Jr., Matt Rama, Santee Baird, Tiny DeCory and Peter Hill.
Currently we continue to recruit additional DJs, work on getting them trained and into the mix. Roles and responsibilities, cleaning and maintenance, programming logs, schedule and policies, memorial and emergency announcements, fundraising ideas and weekly events and chain of command are all part of the training. Derrick Janis continues to provide regular training and updates to KILI’s volunteer DJ crew. We always have people expressing interest in becoming a DJ but they often times do not return to the station for training.
